想念您們和孩子！

剛來時我就擔心回航時間太早，得知可以租車才松了口氣，可沒想到你們還是去了機場，而且又是全家人，這份情意令我終身難忘。這兩天，你們一家四人站在入境口向我揮手告別的情景，一直浮現在我的腦海中，真是太讓人感動了，感動之餘又令我深深內疚，怎麼可以讓你們全家為我付出這麼多？。。。。

你們的一雙兒女是最最可愛的，還記得初次見面，我們就絲毫沒有距離感，親切得就象家人一樣，我驚歎Lynne的純真、熱情、大方，還有Merton 的真誠和智慧。我真是太喜歡他們了，想到他們眼睛就濕潤了。。。。

非常感謝你們全家的努力，讓我在美渡過了難忘而又愉快的一個月。結識你們一家並能成為朋友是我們的榮幸，我們就象家人一樣，今後你們的一切都將牽動著我們的心。

　　過幾天有時間我再整理一些相片發給你們．

 The picture shows Esperanza listening to the heart beat of the earth in America like she did in Mexico with her papa.

I drew this picture because when I read the chapter this was the most interesting thing to me. It had lots of feeling and it almost made me cry.

Lynne's Project- Black Beard's Death

On November 1718 Black Beard the pirate was killed by having his head cut off by Captain Maynard.

 Edward Teach was Black Beard’s real name. Black Beard was born in Bristol, England on 1680.

 Black Beard was known as the ring of all pirates. Black Beard stole a boat from the French and renamed it Queen Anns Revenge.

 Black Beard was 6 feet and 4 inches tall. People say his body swam around the boat 3 times before sinking into the ocean.
